Angela Thompson

Angela Thompson is the Vice President – Respiratory & Immunology and Patient Centre of Excellence at AstraZeneca Canada Inc., one of Canada’s leading biopharmaceutical companies. Angela brings roughly 20 years of Canadian and Global marketing, sales, and patient access experience within the biopharmaceutical industry to the role, including strong expertise in cardiovascular, central nervous system, infectious diseases, and oncology. Angela has worked in Canada, the US, and Japan during her career at Eli Lilly, Allergan, and AbbVie. Angela is a licensed pharmacist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology & Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, from the University of Toronto. She also holds a Certificate in Pharmacoeconomics from McGill University.
